I’ve got a question for the older people in my TL.

How many of you have your “original” email accounts?

I’m talking about that 1997 computer lab at college when you signed up for a Yahoo or Hotmail account.

Who’s still got it?

I gave up trying to maintain it after the first month of the pandemic this year and this is what I’m up to 8 months later.

The question now is WHY?

TBH, I think it’s FOMO. Like... what if...

It’s my de facto spam box now. When I fill out that form and they ask for an email account, they don’t get the friends and family account.

The handle for the old account is, surprisingly, not embarrassing.
