. @latimes & Tribune have agreed to pay $3 million to resolve a lawsuit brought by journalists who alleged they were paid less than their white male counterparts.

Nearly 240 current & former reporters & editors who would be eligible for back pay.

All Black & Latino reporters, copy editors, line editors employed from Feb 14, 2015 - Oct 26, 2020, could receive a portion of the award.

All women who worked as reporters & editors during that period would be covered.

If the settlement is approved, more than $1.9 million would be divided among the class (after attorney's fees)

The payments would be calculated using a formula tentatively approved by the judge.
