as much as you want to believe that the democratic party is full of well-meaning, well-intentioned, “on the right side of history” politicians, it’s not. these are massively educated people purposefully and intentionally choosing to do violence on the global working class.
while it may be easy to get swept up in their charisma and carefully crafted language, time and time again they have shown that they will uphold this inhumane system and continue to breed the conditions that cause people like trump to rise to power.
is it worth it? is the cute and relatable memes of biden, hillary, obama, pelosi, and the rest of the bourgeois democratic party that humanizes and romanticize them worth the evident erasure of their crimes against humanity?
these people are NOT like us. their “mistakes” cause suffering. mass suffering. of people in the united states, people in the global south, people in the middle east, and the rest of the world. the democratic party is unsalvageable and we must and CAN do better.
i am honestly just tired and begging for people to see the light. if you can name every bad thing trump has done the past four years but can’t name a single one of biden, kamala, or obama’s crimes you are CHOOSING to be selective in your outrage.
the democratic party is NOT your friend. they are not your saviors. they are not going to liberate us. they serve the interests of the ruling class, not you. it’s time to let it go so we can build a better world. our reliance on them is an obstacle to be defeated.
