3/ it helps me gauge the quality of what we’re shipping, again from APIs, to docs, and features
4/ a lot of quality issues come from transition areas across team boundaries so I’ll often focus on those
5/ great tech and products come from millions of small details and appreciating and experiencing when teams got those right is the best part of the job
6/ it also helps me anticipate step change tech investments that we need when seeing areas that are slow or clear we didn’t get the primitives right.
7/ it’s also fun. I’m maybe just a too highly paid QA engineer.
