There will be more to say here, but for today: the Biden campaign believed in data from day one, and the Biden for President analytics team of 150+ brilliant, weird folks have earned every second of this victory. I will be in their debt for a lifetime.

How did we build this? We refused to hire assholes, no matter how smart they were. We said when we knew the answer, and more importantly when we didn’t know the answer. We solved the problems in front of us, and always prioritized the right answer over the fancy technique.

We had this crazy idea that analytics could be for everyone, that we could get people to trust us by simply explaining what we were doing. And it worked.

Of all of the things I am proud of, I am most proud that the Biden analytics team brought kindness, humility, and joy to our work every day. You can actually do that in tech & politics, it turns out.
