For 15 years I worked hard, both as a paid employee and as a volunteer, to get republican’s elected. I gave a good chunk of my life to supporting the @GOP because I believed in our principles and for what?

The GOP has changed into something I no longer recognize. It no longer values truth and integrity, instead, it builds on lies and disinformation.

I’ve watched @POTUS whine for 4 years because he lost the popular vote so we know he won’t go away if there’s a recount.

For 4 years, he’s torn apart our institutions, causing citizens to lose trust in them. He’s fired good, non partisan career people and planted yes men in their place.

Never in my life have I been so ashamed of my party. This is not a party that believes in #AmericaFirst, it only believes in #TrumpFirst.

For the first time in the 35 years I’ve been a Republican, I found myself having to vote for a democrat to save this country. It’s sad to see the only thing the Republican Party cares about is stroking the ego of a man who cares only for himself.

He fans the flames of division and hate and he’s cheered while doing so. Even friends I’ve worked side by side with, “well he’s been good for my bank account.” There’s so many more important things that we are forgetting.

I watch the “but abortion” voters. We had the House, the Senate and the White House and they did nothing on that issue. You know why? Because the only time that issue matters to them is when they need your vote.

Both parties are allowing the extremes to take over when the majority of this country is center right and center left. Both parties need to get their act together.

Most of all, Republicans need to stop letting a con man call the shots. He lost. Tell him it’s time to move on. If you can’t, you will have destroyed what sliver of the party is left.
