A short thread about voter records and vote history in Nevada. Registered voters in Nevada can login to the @NVSOS voter search website ( https://www.nvsos.gov/votersearch ) and verify their voter registration information. They can also check their vote history.

Vote history shows all the elections at which the voter participated, as well as voting method. For example, if a voter voted early at the 2018 general election, the voter’s vote history will show 11/6/2018 for the date of election and Early Voted for the method of voting.

Vote history is not tied in realtime to the actual tabulation of votes. Instead, in most cases vote history for a particular election is only applied after certification & the election is finalized. This makes sense because election results are unofficial until certification.

If you voted a mail ballot this election and your vote history says Mail Ballot Received, this is not an indication that your ballot hasn’t been counted. Instead, it is simply an indication that election results haven’t been finalized yet.

Once results have been certified next week, your vote history will change to Mail Ballot Counted. Be patient. If there was a problem with your ballot, you would have been notified. You can read more about this topic here: https://www.nvsos.gov/sos/Home/Components/News/News/2890/309?backlist=%2fsos.
