$OSTK $CWH One of the best lessons i learned from the late great Richard Russell is the difference between how a rich man invests and how a poor man invests.

A rich man does not need more money, but but rather wants more.

A poor man doesn't so much want more money,
as he needs more money.

The need for money creates haste. Desire, with lack of need, enables patience and focus.

The bottom line is that the rich man can afford to wait for opportunity, where as the poor man is desperate to earn due to need.
note: when you don't need the money you are risking, you can also tolerate greater volatility.

Good opportunities are rare. When they occur you need ability, you need patience, and you need conviction (knowledge) to stay the course.
