The UKVIA shares @ASH_LDN concerns over the lack of clarity following the decision to disband @PHE_uk. PHE has made a considerable contribution to harm reduction and smoking cessation in recent years, and has undoubtedly improved the health of the nation and saved lives.
We are calling upon the custodians of PHE’s former responsibilities to continue their positive approach towards harm-reduction technologies and to protect the many successes of #vaping in UK public health & to empower further positive change in the future.
It is vital that this progressive, evidence-based culture continues to support adult consumers to make a #positive change for their health.
