About to do a zoom call with some second graders talking to them about veterans day. I am very excited to tell them I was a dog handler and then spend the rest of the time answering questions like

"I have a dog too. It's a boxer named Ralph."

That was awesome. Best question

"When you lived in Japan, did you meet the creator of Pokemon?"

Me: I sure didn't.

Him:

“Did you like your job? Why did you get the Purple Heart?”

Me: I loved my job. It’s the best one in the military. I woke up everyday and got to train with and play with dogs!

The class: awesome!

Me: and I got the Purple Heart for being shot through my arm.

The class:
