🧐 This entire year, I’ve gotten the same questions over and over when it comes to TERRA

So, I’m pinning this thread to compile them all and share the answers publicly...

Starting with ‘how do you keep your shipping costs low?’ 👇
Simple answer: I don’t.

Shipping costs are low for my customers, NOT for me ☹️

Customers pay $4.95 (or nothing at all) but I pay $8-$16

‘What platforms do you market your products on?’

🤳 99.5% Instagram
📝 0.5% Twitter

Soon, I’ll have a license plate that says ‘T3RRA’ and maybe that’ll make a dent 😎
‘How much do you spend on marketing?’

$0, instead I pay with my own time — which is probably why I’ve become so personable with my brand

And I love it 🥰 I know every single one of my customers (or at least try to!)
‘How do you approach wholesale orders and partnerships?’

I send a friendly email 💌

Hi, I’m Dianna. The founder of TERRA, I hand-pour soy candles that I think aligns with your business perfectly!

Then I go on to list X, Y, and Z of why I think that. And what I’m proposing 🤝
‘How do you handle int’l shipping?’

I 💛 the idea of having my candles in people’s hands around the world, so again, while the shipping cost for the customer may be low

It is quite costly for me! I once paid $67 to ship 3 candles

Sacrifices 🙏

Carriers used so far: USPS, UPS
‘Why are you not on Etsy? (free marketing exposure)’

I almost went to have my shop on Etsy and Shopify, for that reason exactly — the SEO opportunity

But, the idea of managing two separate inventories has pulled me away from Etsy

Along with updating double listings, etc
‘Are you using Pinterest to help generate traffic?’

I’m not, but I REALLY NEED TO

Yes, use Pinterest people! I just have other things taking priority most days, but I do need to get around to this!
