Web folk ( @slightlylate) What if someone wanted to build a browser from scratch that ONLY incorporated modern HTML and CSS? No APIs or functionality that needed JS to access, so not even setting cookies via JS.

How much work would that entail? What kind of issues might crop up?
To be clear, I'm not thinking of actually doing this. 😂Simply an idle thought after screaming at yet another script and advertising-laden text site.
Christ, even just an HTML renderer with enforced styling.
*searches for "porting Lynx to mobile devices"*
I actually like this idea more and more. A browser that *only* deals with HTML. I'd certainly use it on my mobile device. At the very least just to confirm my worldview and to give me fresh anger. 😂
I do kinda already do this with FOSS Browser (with JS disabled) but the interface is... quite clunky.
Truth is, fellow web devs, I don't care about your site's interface. I just want that sweet content.
If you think I'm talking about "web apps" you're wrong. My luddite ass will happily never use another "web app" again.
