The war for Karabakh is over and here are some highlights and lessons.
1- Azerbaijan successfully transformed their classic backward armed forces into a state of the art tech equipped units.

3- Azeri MOD played a most perfect propaganda war publishing videos to prove their advances. This alone changed the face of the war several times.
4- Armenian units on the other hand went to war with a doctrine from the 60s. Failure to adapt and integrate was a deadly failure

5- Armenian MOD stuck to their media representative who should have been fired from her job on the first week. Unimaginative and classical Soviet era techniques no longer work.
6- Armenian MOD realized from the first 10 days that Azeris now control the skies and they never planned or conducted CAS missions or even tried to suppress enemy airfields or even try to regain air superiority. Mega money was spend on the SU two years ago. They did nothing.
7- Armenia launched several heavy long range missiles over useless targets which is something that can never change the face of the battlefield. Their last hurrah was an Iskander launched at Baku. Again, useless strategy in place.
8- Artsakh units were heroic against all odds but they were left out in the open and I can’t even imagine the amount of losses their incurred. They were ill equipped to fight in a tech battlefield. Someone must answer to this failure.
9- Armenian PM and gov should be brought to justice for Ill preparations; intel services should be sacked for their inability to understand the Azeri tech preparations.
10- Armenian Army should be entirely rebuilt. The ancien regime of Soviet era officers retired and new tech capable generation introduced. The battlefield is no longer controlled by larger troop movements.
Finally the total Armenian defeat is a new lesson in our modern time and age of how wars can be won with technology. Ancient weapons are quickly overlapped when new capabilites emerge.
