70 million people voted for Trump, they aren't racists, ignorant, stupid, ill informed or deplorable. They have real issues and desires that matter to them, until we as the other 75 million people try to understand and connect with them, this schism will continue. Be Better

A lot of our elites are failing regular people, our economies are changing drastically, our cultural wars are demonizing each side, our desire for conformity is destroying our unity in diversity and our desire for power and control is killing our moral and ethical spirit.

I despise Trump but not the people who voted for him. Biden and Harris are a step towards decency but they are not a panacea. They have issues that need to be addressed. We as a society are failing, we are failing each other, the government cannot solve this, we must.

Mutual Respect and Honest engagement is one of the only ways. We will not solve most or all of our problems, they are intrinsic to the human condition but we can make that condition more palatable, fair, honest, compassionate and truthful. Let's be better, it starts with us
