8. This gives you a measure of the culture of #impunity inside the Italian #SecretServices and #LawEnforcement: they can make a person disappear in the middle of the day in the center of Milan as in #Pinochet's Chile, and they won't go to prison and will get promoted
9 whenever I look at the #Italian #SecretServices and #LawEnforcement, this culture of impunity scares the hell out of me. The only thing which made me hopeful: when working on the #Stratfor emails revealed by #WikiLeaks, I found an amazing email about the #AbuOmar case
10. #Stratfor is a US private intelligence firm, @FreeJeremyNet has already spent 7 years in prison for his alleged role in the hacking of #Stratfor, #WikiLeaks revealed those emails, I worked on them for months and found an email about the #AbuOmar case
11. in that email, the #Stratfor spooks admired the Italian prosecutor #ArmandoSpataro, who nailed the #CIA agents involved in the #AbuOmar #extraordinary rendition: "man is a legitimate legend". No such nice words about the Italian politicians who granted #impunity to #CIA
