Stop calling the people who reject hadeeth 'quranist'. Call them what they are. Hadeeth rejectors... Infidels.

They also reject Qur-aan since the Qur-aan effectively commands that we follow the sunnah (recorded in hadeeth). They reject many ahkaam revealed in the Qur-aan because

Because they say these ahkaam rely on hadeeth to explain the proper details. This includes salaah, ritual purity, rites to do with hajj among many other things.

They are hadeeth rejectors (and they reject Qur-aan too).

For the good brothers who are warning about takfeer, I say to them what is known in every madhab and school of thought. That rejecting the sunnah is major disbelief.

It really is no different to rejecting the prophet SAS outright, since all we have from him is his sunnah.
