IMO
Biden will pursue strategic US goals with diff tactics than Trump

israel will soleley police ME after achieving ultimate superiority across sectors

US will focus resources on China
while making side deals (i.e Russia in Syria) & try and corner China
US will realistically realize decrease in its global influence (which trump ignored) and start working its way up to regain all lost by facing its strategic and only major threatening enemy; China.
China has been working silently on the belt road initiative so US will have number one priority to eliminate this project.
The competition between China and US already started in Africa years ago, where Africa is a whole continent of untapped resources, forecasted to be the fastest growing economy between the yease 2040-2050.
In Asia, US has been for years creating geopolitical turbulence, land & maritime, (with the help of other countries i.e Turkey, India) in countries considered of great importance logistically to China Belt & Road initiative (i.e Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Uyghur etc)
Sea route;
Russians have been opening up a sea route from north pole, making use of globale warming that is causing ice to melt, & nuclear ships to break icebergs.
Route will be a shorter & more secure to EU than nile, however Russians have sole control of it, which is dangerous
Most important dispute, that might actually be the reason a world war 3 will start is South China sea, below main reasons will be mentioned.
Shipping traffic & merchandise on it carried about $3.4 trillion value, 1/3 of worlds maritime shipping. 40% of this number is of China’s trade. Similarly, US also conducts a total of 6% of its global trade through the maritime trade line of the South China Sea.
Moreover, 90% of petroleum imported by major countries like China, Japan and South Korea pass through this area.
n 2016, almost 40% of global LNG (liquidated natural gas) trade, or about 4.7 trillion cubic feet (Tcf), passed through the South China Sea.
two superpowers of the world, United States and Socialist Republic of China are racing for hegemony in the evolving multi-polar world of 21st century and South China Sea, with all its wealth and strategic significance, lies in the middle of that struggle.
Engaging in an immense border territorial dispute with neighboring countries, that are pushed or coerced by the US, or have historic claims and want to try and make use of its resources
South China Sea is a crucial link in the ‘global commons’, connecting Pacific to Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf and Europe
Right now, along with East China Sea, it is the most contested piece of sea in the world & one of the main reasons for current anxiety over China’s intentions
South China Sea is a vast area measuring 3.6 million square kilometres, more than double the size of the Gulf of Mexico. It takes a modern warship just over three days to sail at top speed of 30 knots from its northern edge at Taiwan to the southern edge at the Strait of Malacca.
The geostrategic & economic importance associated with the ocean is tremendous & manifold
From busiest maritime trade ways to sea beds full of unlimited resources, this piece of Pacific Ocean has unlimited potential of geostrategic & economic supremacy for anyone who dominates it
From resources perspective;
The South China Sea is a region of tremendous economic importance.
According to the World Bank, the South China Sea holds proven oil reserves of at least seven billion barrels and an estimated 900 trillion cubic feet of natural gas
More than half of the world’s fishing vessels are in South China Sea, millions of people depend on these waters for their food & livelihoods. around 10% of world’s fishery resource is present there
Local dense population of South East Asia is a thriving market for marine exports
the region acts as a strong military base for China in case of a Total War with the enemies. In case there is a direct military confrontation between the United States and China, the significance of South China Sea is undeniable
The Seventh Fleet of the United States has a constant routine to transit between the Pacific and Indian Oceans at regular intervals. These regular visits require maritime security for the troops to carry on smoothly
If war ensues, these strategic points to rescue assist Chinese givern0emnt in ways more than just being cannon fodder. These islands have a massive role to play in providing firepower, situational awareness, and logistical information to the Chinese government.
The location of these islands is ideal for Beijing to install anti-ship and anti-air missiles in order to make sure that the naval fleet of the enemy, either US or any other regional force, can be stopped from entering the region.
The cluster of strategically placed islands have the ability to keep enemy at bay
The size of some of the facilities makes firepower assault a very difficult task
US Navy would need an unrealistic amount of firepower for complete neutralization of military bases in the islands
Last the renowned Spratly outposts of China in the South China Sea serves as the main frontier of China’s rising ballistic missile submarine bastion
And in conclusion, we mustnt forget the ongoing massive technological competition between the US and China, and the major lead China had over the US in 5g network and recently 6g network
And also most US major factories are located in China
But that is for another time
