The reason I wear a mask is because I love my family, church, and neighbor.
I’m not particularly worried about getting Covid personally, but I don’t want to unknowingly spread it or catch it and give it to someone vulnerable, or to my family, church, or neighbors. That’s it.

2/ Jesus summed up the Law and Prophets by saying we are to Love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. We’re near God’s Kingdom when we do that.
In a pandemic, Christians are to love our neighbors by protecting them. Covid doesn’t about whether we believe it’s real or not.

3/ Love your family and neighbor enough to protect yourself from Covid so you don’t catch it and infect them.
Christians should have led the way on this. The masks should have been marks of Jesus followers because we are willing to sacrifice our convenience to protect others.

4/ Heard multiple stories today of people catching Covid, getting sick, in hospital, dying. Heartbreaking. Our church wears a mask when we gather not to constrict people or take away their freedoms or oppress anyone, but because we freely love each other and love our neighbors.
