Ranging from people who have been fervent, principled opponents of the cult their whole lives to people who were literally in it just five minutes ago but got freaked out when it was a little too real
The Dems are a party of radical socialist activists standing next to exploitative capitalist douchebags whose only thing they have in common is they're not Republicans, that they aren't committed to this one specific death cult and its mission of glorious fiery apotheosis

And likely when you say "we" your "we" isn't the big picture of actually everyone whom you could identify as "the Democrats"
Everyone who calls themselves a Democrat actually means a much smaller "we" within the huge mass of people who aren't Republicans

DSA leftists *aren't* a majority, they're a minority, and so are old school Southern Blue Dogs, and so are the techbro corporate Dems from San Francisco, and so are the older Black voters in the "Black belt" in the South who dominate the Super Tuesday primaries, etc, etc
That's the situation you're in if you're a Democrat, and in some ways it's a good position -- it is, in fact, better than being in the Republican death cult -- but it's also going to lead you to constant frustrations like this
It's like being in The Walking Dead, like all the humans clearly actually have deep and valid reasons to fucking hate each other, contradictions they absolutely need to work out if they're ever going to create any functional society
