I remember years ago when I lived in London, waking up one morning about six am because there was a noise outside. I went to the window and saw a man opening the door of a car parked down on the street. It was not his car.
He went in, and emerged the other side holding something. That was not his. And then he was gone. The movement was so swift, like smoke. Or like a rat. I wondered: did he make a decision? Did he think “Well, this is a nice street, they’re rich, it’s somehow okay for me to steal”?
No. He didn't think. It didn't even occur to him. He just did what he wanted to do. The owner of the car wasn’t real to him. His only thought was what he wanted to do. The thing he wanted. Morality didn't exist.

That’s the GOP. That’s Trump. Feral. Outside society. Alone.
