Hello, as an organizer from Georgia working on important Jan 5 U.S. Senate Run-off election, here's what I need you to know:
1. We have ANOTHER run off on Dec 1st for public service c commissioner (need to elect @BlackmanDNA) and DA in Athens-Clarke (need to elect @DG4DA)

2. Our organizers on the ground know their stuff. Do not try to undermine our ground game with your own plans. We have been under resourced for years and we've still been able to kick ass and take names.
3. The calls for help are COMING. We need volunteers to help out but please hold off on contacting/reaching out to all of your favorite groups. They are trying to plan and respond accordingly. They/we will reach out AS soon as we can.
4. Please do not come to Georgia if you are looking for a fun way to spend your holidays. Come to Georgia if you sincerely want to help us build our organizing power for this cycle and beyond.
5. Support local orgs, organizers, and vendors. I can't believe I still have to say this. There are too many national orgs that have tried to capitalize off of this moment.
6. The pressure IS ON. Take it easy on us and be kind.
