Because I would literally always rather be planning for a new, future syllabus instead of grading, give me your best ideas for a Politics of Travel course -- this would be American politics-focused as that's my area of expertise. Some ideas in the thread below:

Race, travel, and civil rights would definitely be a major topic -- looking at Driving While Black by @sullivansorin and Overground Railroad by Candacy Taylor

Then there's Trump's Muslim ban/travel ban EO's, advocacy around the bans, and court cases.

Something around the politics of the no fly list? Not as familiar with the literature here but I'm sure there must be someone working on this. :)
