There’s dichotomy in public b/w trusting in #science as a concept vs. wanting #science to align with one’s world views
address this dichotomy by infusing educators at all levels/disciplines w/ #science so that they in turn infuse the public with #science
#scicomm:equip #scientist with communication skills, all scientists MUST be communicators Build trust within communities, empower local scientists to be leaders & communicators within their communities
#EDI: 
has massive diversity scientific community MUST represent that
If scientists look like their community establish trust w/in community progress research that meets community’s needs + successful #scicomm ensure review boards reflect applicant diversity
#SciencePolicy: #scientists should engage policymakers at EVERY level of gov’t, but most importantly start local Be present & active where the public is Not only advocate for 
#science funding, but also advocate for #scientific spending e.g. clean energy
