Unfortunately, her role in buying and holding #Yezidi #Yazidi slaves did not factor into the case. That is because it was likely too difficult to prove her intent or if she was ‘coerced’. Yes, the ‘slaves’ held in her house were raped by her husband.

Samantha Elhassani aka Um Yusuf is an #American citizen and female member (former member) of #ISIS #Daesh. She traveled to several countries, using her children as cover to elude detection, for funds gold for ISIS. She has been sentenced today for material support for #Terror .

The Free Yezidi Foundation advocated for stronger charges to be filed in this case, based on others actions taken by the now-convicted terror-financier Samantha Elhassani aka Um Yusuf. Supporting genocide is worse than supporting terror and should warrant full force of law.
