The Great Synagogue in Bochum, it was set on fire around midnight. Bochum had a Jewish community of 1,152 in 1933. A lot of Jewish people who were born in Poland or stateless had moved there by 1933, but were expelled in the Polenaktion right before Kristallnacht.
There were Jews living in Braunschweig (Brunswick) as early as the year 1137. They city became a stronghold of Nazism in the early 30s. This synagogue built in 1875 was destroyed. Only 620 Jews stayed in the city after that, most were murdered.

This synagogue in Gotha was built in 1903. Gotha became popular for Nazism before 1933, and many Jews emigrated. During Kristallnacht, it was burned to the ground by SA men and cheering bystanders, and the fire department was commended for letting the fire continue to burn.
This Romanesque-style synagogue was built in Bornplatz in 1905. It was Germany's first freestanding and largest synagogue. During Kristallnacht, it was set on fire, and the congregation was forced to sell the property and pay for the damages that the Nazis did.
This beautiful synagogue in Hanover was destroyed during Kristallnacht. The Nazis forced their rabbi, Samuel Freund, to pay 26,000 reichsmarks ($150,000) for the damages. He spent the rest of his life trying to find a way out of Germany before dying of heart failure in 1939.
The synagogue in Leipzig was built in 1855 by Jewish architect Otto Simonson in a Moorish Revival style. The synagogue is thought to have influenced other Moorish Revival style synagogues in Germany. It was destroyed during Kristallnacht.
This synagogue in Mülheim was built in 1907. 4 weeks before Kristallnacht, it was sold because the community could no longer afford it. The interior was destroyed on November 8th, and burnt down the following night. Theres pics of the burning synagogue that I dont want to post.
The Great Synagogue in Nuremberg was not destroyed during Kristallnacht, but it should be included here, because it was destroyed on 10 August 1938 under the order of Nazi leader Julius Streimer under the pretext that it was "making the city look ugly."
The gorgeous synagogue in Stuttgart was built in 1861 and burned to the ground during Kristallnacht. These pictures were taken in the 1920s. There are pictures of this synagogue burning down that I dont want to post. At least 1,200 Stuttgart Jews were murdered by Nazis.
This synagogue in Vienna called the Türkischer Tempel (Turkish Temple) was built in a Moorish Revival style specifically for the Sephardic Jews there, with a dome. It was destroyed during Kristallnacht.

Another synagogue called the Neue Synagogue (New Synagogue) in Gilwice, Poland (Upper Silesia) was built around 1860. It was destroyed by the Nazis during Kristallnacht.
The synagogue in Słupsk, Poland (formerly part of Germany) was built in 1901-1902 by Eduard Koch, and destroyed by the Nazis during Kristallnacht.
Also just want to say that there was a huge amount of Moorish Revival synagogues in Central Europe, as you can see. The reason for this was because since Jews were constantly typecasted as the "Orientals" of Europe, they decided they wanted to embrace that.
