Labour could have pointed out the insanity of the removal of Freedom of Movement. They've had 4.5 years to do so.

They chose not to.
Before any Labour activists pop up (for they surely will) and say "Why aren't you having a go at the Tories about this?", check my timeline. I've spent 4.5 years pointing out the insanity of losing FoM, to everyone.

Labour, on the other hand, have said NOTHING.
Some Labour MPs have spoken out. Labour MEPs like @SebDance does fairly regularly.

@DavidLammy has also been superb.

Corbyn - not a peep, but he's a lifelong Brexiter.

Starmer - "Tories promised an oven ready deal" appears to be his excuse for saying nothing.
Losing EU FoM will utterly cripple probably millions of UK businesses.

"Bob, we've got a job in Cologne to service the equipment we sold there in 2015, you're the only guy who knows how it works but you don't have FoM so we're going to have to hire a German engineer instead"
