One thing I see a lot of people on the right pointing to in defense of Trump's continued attempts to undermine democracy: "No state has certified its results."

That has nothing to do with the it being "close" or "contested" or whatever. See: https://ballotpedia.org/Election_results_certification_dates,_2020
Those dates are fixed. Either candidate could have gotten 100% of the vote and they still wouldn't have been rushing out to certify them because that's not how it works.
What I'm interested in: does Trump's team actually think he won elections in those states?

Because the vague phrasing of a lot of the statements I'm seeing lead me to believe that the eventual endgame here will be them trying to convince states to just... not certify anything.
This Atlantic article from September has some worrying paragraphs... which may help explain why they're trying to hard to throw confidence in the election's results into question... https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2020/11/what-if-trump-refuses-concede/616424/
Anyway, I'm getting pretty sick of people sitting around going, "Pfffft. They can't do that. This is all about raising money. They're just trying to protect his ego." or whatever else.

Too few people are willing to acknowledge this much darker reality.
Pointing at the constitution and going, "That's not how it's supposed to work!" doesn't stop fascists. Elected Republicans are fascists. Full-stop. They don't believe in liberal democracy. They just don't.
