Really useful feedback from the @WeAreRise_NE team today following our experiment with #NoEmailDay last Thurs. Key findings/learnings:
1. Generally, everyone enjoyed the ability to focus on doing work, rather than servicing their inbox.

2. We realise how much we email internally when we would have spoken in the office - use the phone more.
3. Many of us have an anxiety about replying to emails quickly, not recognising that urgent stuff is best talked about, not emailed about, & that if its not urgent it can wait

4. Don't try #NoEmailDay on a Thurs if many staff are off on Fridays as logistically it just doesn't work for them.
5. Make a note of your calendar commitments before the day, so you don't even need to open Outlook to check your calendar.
