voters who used and abused the term "harm reduction" to describe voting for biden, its time for you to actually do some actual harm reduction!
harm reduction is a framework of direct action+ mutual aid meant to save lives and alleviate stigma against people who use drugs and sex workers. it is you cutting out the middleman and materially helping people who need it.
The War on Drugs and FOSTA SESTA have criminalized, killed, and harmed sex workers and people who use drugs both directly influenced and at the hands of Biden/Harris. If you equated harm reduction to voting for them, this is absolutely the least you can do.
If you want to learn about the fight for decriminalization, sex work + borders, the racialized nature of sex work, and the abundant and harmful anti sex work narratives, read "Revolting Prostitutes" by Juno Mac and Molly Smith

Similarly another great book about addiction, drug use, and the States complicity and interest in letting people die , "Fighting for Space" by Travis Lupick https://www.akpress.org/fightingforspace.html
Basically the government fucks people over, leaves them to die and directly benefits from these industries being criminalized at the expense of marginalized communities.
Narcan (brand name for naloxone) is a very effective lifesaving treatment for overdoses. Did you know that most pharmacies in the US carry narcan without a prescription? You should carry some! Some insurance plans even cover it so you can get some for free.
here is how you can start helping sex workers: pay for your porn. donate to sex worker relief funds. fight for decrim. write to people who are incarcerated. organize towards abolition of police and prisons. https://rewirenewsgroup.com/article/2020/03/26/heres-how-you-can-help-sex-workers-during-the-covid-19-outbreak/
Donate time and money to your local harm reduction organization! Focus on ones that use abolitionist, non carceral modes of organizing. Portland has a great group called Pacific Northwest Harm Reduction Project @pnwhrp https://pnwhrp.org/
Dont call the police on drug users! Here is a good list of suggestions for what to do instead. https://www.google.com/amp/s/filtermag.org/avoid-calling-police/
Find a local organization that supports and helps sex workers. Give em money and/or time. Stroll PDX is a great org
