Everything was done in pairs of Republican + Democrat and/or Independent. From greeting voters as they walked into our polling location to checking voters in to processing provisional ballots to reviewing the provisional ballot envelopes to make sure voters filled it out right.
Everything we did was done in pairs. There's only two things I did without my counterpart: eat lunch and go to the bathroom.

At the end of the night, when we were running the reports, they were done by members of the opposite parties and theu were triple checked by three pairs of R + D/I.
Someone is more likely to get struck by lightning than commit voter fraud. I can't imagine how any of us would have altered votes or otherwise committed voter fraud.

For anyone to imply that election officials operated dishonestly or without integrity is incredibly disheartening and shameful. This was something bigger than all of us as individuals and our respective political affiliations.
Poll workers have been harassed, abused, and assaulted. Some needed police escorts to get to their cars. Some have to lay low and hide because of the false claims that emerged about them.
Civic duty has turned into a real security and safety concern. It's shameful.

Poll workers have tested positive for COVID-19 and even died. We took on the duty despite knowing we are living through a pandemic. We took the responsibility so that someone else with a higher risk wouldn't have to.
