Assalamu alaykum. Hope everyone is well. For question 1 I think that it should be told after the samuloosa run and if it prevents it from going further isn't that good? Like you know in advance how much the other person would tolerate or understand? So if https://curiouscat.qa/TheSamoosaRunner/post/1155950581
Slmz. I have a mental illness. Not terrible, not bad, but existant. Only had one samoosa run, told the guy before that I suffer from such and such, he asked me what happens, how long it lasts, what can a person who is with you do, how it affects etc etc. https://curiouscat.qa/TheSamoosaRunner/post/1155950607
For Q2 I think the boy & the girl should discuss it among themselves. Maybe request another meeting after the samoosa run if both sides seem a yes. Also just my opinion but the youth are generally more accepting of such things coz they've been through it a https://curiouscat.qa/TheSamoosaRunner/post/1155950825
For Q3 this is so tricky. Okay maybe don't go straight to the deep stuff but the basics need to be told - side effects, medication being taken etc. Maybe ask them if they need to know more? Anyways I hope this helped. And may Allah make it easy for https://curiouscat.qa/TheSamoosaRunner/post/1155952194
Salaam, I think it should be early as possible and also how it is managed. I spoke to and considered a guy who told me he suffered from bipolar but refused to take anything for it. I also noticed erratic behaviour with how he treated me so eventually thing https://curiouscat.qa/TheSamoosaRunner/post/1155956464
Salaam, just wanted to respond regarding your recent discussion you’ve just tweeted about. Mental health is a massive taboo subject in the Asian community esp where I’m from. I suffer from anxiety and occasionally depression but it’s something my family kn https://curiouscat.qa/TheSamoosaRunner/post/1155956506
I'd like to add, he himself didn't know much about mental health issues but was willing to learn and try to understand. This varies greatly from person to person. He was willing to learn, many aren't. You have to explain to the potential what happens, what https://curiouscat.qa/TheSamoosaRunner/post/1155957380
Slms Great topic, unfortunately it’s something that often goes unnoticed, especially in our community I feel that it should be discussed at a stage where person X feels that it’s going somewhere, perhaps the 2nd meeting The boy and girl should discuss it f https://curiouscat.qa/TheSamoosaRunner/post/1155972620
