Ezekiel Emanuel's is one of the architects behind the "Complete Lives System" that basically decides who is worthy of receiving care based on age, what they can contribute to society, and how healthy you were prior to needing treatment
He was under sever scrutinity when he was working with Obama and a lot of doctors protested and spoke out against him publicly for him trying not to only uphold a for-profit healthcare system but for also trying to use statistics to justify essentially a "death panel"
The reality of the situation is that we are currently living through such a system because COVID-19 and lack of resources but I'm not sure how to feel about bringing someone like that on board if you ran on saving and protecting lives

I see I need to clarify this. My intention was not to mislead with the term death panel and it is why I put it quotation marks and said essentially before it. I am talking about this system in the context of COVID-19 care. There are hospitals right now reaching capacity
And are struggling to keep up with care and providing services to everyone who need critical care due to Covid-19. There were discussions earlier this year about having a point system on deciding who would receive care and would not receive it if maximum capacities and
Resources were reached. Italy warned us about this. But I again I am upset at this because Biden ran on protecting the most vulnerable so it seems to add someone who believes in such a system on your Covid-19 advisory board is dangerous.
Many states have plans or guidelines in place if hospitals do in fact get overwhelmed to decide who has the best chance of survival if given treatment. I, again I, worry about this because of racism in healthcare along with a disregard to people with disabilities.
