Anyways at my first internship I worked at a company that was trying to increase the shelf live of produce particularly Potatoes . While doing customer development for them I learned about the concept of food deserts.
And how marginalized neighborhoods don’t have access to quality food and fresh produce. Resulting in brands selling high sugar low quality foods in the local shops and grocery stores. It’s always someone who thinks they super smart that forms on the tl and talks about food stamps
And healthy foods without understanding the underlying economics and struggle that people from marginalized communities deal with...anyways if you want to learn more this is a piece my company wrote the summer I was interning for them https://link.medium.com/pFyMlbCnhbb
