With COVID surging in PA, the state is asking INDIVIDUALS to take action and reduce spread.

KNOW WHAT? It's also going to take policies.

We will revert to shutdowns of places where ppl gather--restaurants, bars, churches, schools. Not IF but WHEN.

Sooner=more lives saved.

We did relatively well in Philadelphia in the spring--compared to other cities that suffered a disproportionate death toll (NYC).

BC we shut down early.

I fear that ~success sowed complacency.

Pandemic fatigue is REAL.

We need leaders to help w policies.

This will not be fun. Many will lose money. Children will lose time learning.

Those can be ameliorated w policy action too, and with time.

But death is irreversible.
