And contrary to popular belief, the ACA is not just plans purchased on an exchange. The bulk of the law is protection for patients. We could see protections for pre-existing conditions, out-of-pocket maximums, required birth control coverage, HSAs, etc., wiped out in an instant.
Most legal experts say it is unlikely that the court will strike down the entire law, but with this bizarro world court, anything is possible. Best to brace ourselves.
