If you take your opponent's worst traits, and assume that his supporters are supporting exactly those traits, you are creating an excuse to hate half the electorate.
I know hundreds of Trump supporters. They see their support for Trump as support for pro-life judges, no new wars, larger child tax credits, not suing nuns, etc....
I know hundreds of Biden supporters. They don't see themselves as supporting the Iraq war, the illegal Libya war, Biden's defense of his son's corrupt foreign influence peddling, Harris's locking up school parents.
