Some potential Richarlison replacements (Thread)
I personally feel that if we don’t at least get Europa league this season Richarlison will be leaving in the summer. It is important Everton get the correct replacement in, I have tried to find players of a similar profile through data and have come up with a few options.
Denis Bouanga
Positions:LW/ST/RW
Age:25
Bouanga like Richarlison is very direct and a goal scorer and possesses great pace something this side lacks. Importantly he puts in a lot of defensive work as well.
Ideally I would have him as an addition to a side with Richarlison in.

Marcus Thuram
Positions:LW/ST
Age:23
Thuram is excellent physically being 6’4 with bags of pace. He’s good in front of goal and last season was better than Richarlison creatively. He is also the same age which is a bonus
Unfortunately he doesn’t put in the same defensive work.

Amine Gouiri
Positions:LW/ST
Age:20
Very good goal scorer, decent on corners, similar creative output which will see improvement and a solid dribbler with a good change of pace and a very high ceiling in general.
However the defensive side is an issue and I do prefer him as a 9.

Mounir Chouiar
Position:LW
Age:20
Chouiar isn’t as good in front of goal but he does come up better in terms of dribbling and is a better ball progresser. He also puts in the defensive work Richarlison provides.
He wouldn’t command a large fee either and is slightly younger.

Matheus Cunha
Positions:LW/ST/AM
Age:21
Not as direct as Richarlison since he does cut inside a bit more. But he is very talented with technical dribbling, creativity and goal variety. In the box he needs to be more clinical though
Most importantly he offers a good work rate.

Milot Rashica
Positions:LW/ST/RW
Age:23
Rashica had Werder on his back for a lot of last season and is a big reason why they managed to stay up. Very direct and pacy player who scores goals and puts in the work the other way.
However I do want his shot selection to improve

My top 3 out of the players I’ve brought up here would be:
1. Marcus Thuram
2.Milot Rashica
3. Matheus Cunha
