If you want to get the most from Twitter and develop your platform, don't focus on follower count! Instead, use the built in functions of Twitter! You can view analytics on a tweet to see your reach, profile clicks, times people viewed, and more!
And of course, whether you are a student or a higher-level researcher, tone down the jargon! Here's a neat website that can help you figure out if something has too much jargon, and to what degree!
