Bernie was the most popular and progressive candidate during the primary, yet Biden, the least popular and most conservative, won the election, picked first-to-drop-out Kamala as his VP & is filling his cabinet with other failed candidates like Buttigieg, but nothing for Bernie.
It's very clear, based on who individual donors supported the most during the primary and recent polls, that most Americans support progressive ideas like Universal Healthcare & action against climate change.

Biden barely won the general election and only won the primary thanks to voter suppression, media manipulation, manufactured consent, vicious attacks at Bernie's base and high pressure for him to drop out, and he won't even give Bernie a cabinet position.
And not only he isn't offering any position to Bernie, he's offering position to right wingers like Mitt Romney and Dick Chaney. Does this look like democracy to anyone?
The point of all of this is not to pat Bernie on the shoulder. I'd like to remind everyone that he was the real compromise, the real lesser evil during this election. The point is, if you stand to the left of right-wing democrats like Biden, you should give up electoral politics.
Electoral politics is only ever going to be a waste of time, money and energy if you truly stand for issues like socialised medicine, climate change, ending wars etc. They're never, ever going to let anyone running on these ideas win.
