Good morning! So if you're like me, you spent the weekend happy and wondering, "What's next?" Well, I'm happy to report there is plenty of work we can do to help people all over America. Let's have a little thread.

We need to defend the electoral process. There is a lot of intentional misinformation flying out there. You can sign up to be an Election Defender and be part of a movement created by Black organizers to stop authoritarianism. https://actionnetwork.org/forms/apply-to-be-an-election-defender

Looks like we've have senate runoffs in GA to determine which party controls the Senate. Don't live in GA? Not a problem. You can donate, make calls, send texts, and get involved with the campaigns or with @fairfightaction. https://fairfight.com/ 

That's the immediate work, but what about the future? We have a broken system that doesn't favor the majority of people. How do we begin to change that when the Electoral College, Senate, amendment process, and even the House are not as representative as they should be?

Get involved with the @Mvmnt4BlkLives. They're tackling issues from elections to systemic racism to COVID. They have all kinds of ways you can help out. You may have seen me tweet about the BREATHE Act, which I learned about through them. https://m4bl.org/ 

@WorkingFamilies wants to end the 2-party system and make a more democratic America for the people. They have a plan to work both in and outside the system, a need for volunteers and donations, and a lot of success with their organizing. https://workingfamilies.org/about/
