Many have asked me why I dislike Trump so much (usually in the form of "Trump's done more for the American people for anyone else, libtard.") So, you know what, I'll give you a list of reasons why.
When you saw a man scam poor people through a fraud university, you didn't say anything. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2018/04/10/trump-university-settlement-judge-finalized/502387002/
When you saw a man who built his business off of stiffing his creditors, you said, "It’s just business." https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-hotel-paid-millions-in-fines-for-unpaid-work
You didn't do a thing when he bragged about his history of sexual abuse towards women. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/list-trumps-accusers-allegations-sexual-misconduct/story?id=51956410
When he made stories about Muslim-Americans cheering about 9/11, you believed him. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2015/11/22/donald-trumps-outrageous-claim-that-thousands-of-new-jersey-muslims-celebrated-the-911-attacks/
You agreed with him when he said he could shoot a man on Fifth Avenue and you wouldn't care. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/10/23/president-donald-trump-could-shoot-someone-without-prosecution/4073405002/
When Trump told the story of a man who he saw fall off a stage and hit his head on the marble floor, and how he only cared for the marble floor now being red, you still supported him. https://www.gq.com/story/donald-trump-howard-stern-story
When he mocked the disabled, you thought it was the funniest damn thing you'd ever seen and continued to support him. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/donald-trump-criticized-after-he-appears-mock-reporter-serge-kovaleski-n470016
When he bragged that he didn't read books, you didn't question it. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/01/americas-first-post-text-president/549794/
When the Central Park Five were declared as innocent men falsely convicted of their crimes, he angrily stated that they should still be locked up. You still supported him. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/06/19/what-trump-has-said-central-park-five/1501321001/
When he told his supporters to beat up protestors and that he would hire attorneys to defend them, you still supported him. https://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-trump-campaign-protests-20160313-story.html
When you heard him tell the people in a rally to take a man's coat and throw him out in the cold, you didn't object. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/donald-trump-orders-protesters-coat-is-confiscated-and-he-is-sent-into-the-cold-a6802756.html
We've all heard the infamous "very fine people on both sides," and you continued to support him after that. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/08/why-cant-trump-just-condemn-nazis/567320/
When you heard him demand that the leaders of other countries praise his electoral win, and insulting them until he did, you didn't say a thing. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-insult-foreign-countries-leaders_n_59dd2769e4b0b26332e76d57
When you saw him continue to profit from his business, using his advantage as president to do so, you stood by. https://www.usnews.com/opinion/articles/2018-03-05/how-is-donald-trump-profiting-from-the-presidency-let-us-count-the-ways
When he refused to help Puerto Rico, because it was "in the middle of the water," you agreed. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/politics/wp/2017/09/26/the-very-big-ocean-between-here-and-puerto-rico-is-not-a-perfect-excuse-for-a-lack-of-aid/
When you watched him insult almost every world leader, from Canada to New Zealand, while claiming to "fall in love" with Kim Jong Un, you laughed it off. https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/02/politics/donald-trump-dictators-kim-jong-un-vladimir-putin/index.html
When he called the thousands of kids lost, separated from their families, and kept in incarceration camps, and then said that they were animals... You said nothing. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/trump-cabinet-officials-voted-2018-white-house-meeting-separate-migrant-n1237416
And when you've witnessed all the other examples of his corruption, greed, and nonexistent morals combined with outright rudeness and contempt for you, you still show up wearing your red MAGA hats and threatening anyone who might oppose Dear Leader. https://www.americanprogress.org/issues/democracy/reports/2018/06/04/451570/confronting-cost-trumps-corruption-american-families/
So, yeah. Don't come to me asking for sympathy after all this. This is why we can't find "common ground." This is why we can't just "be friends." When we go high, we get kicked in the crotch. When we turn the other cheek, we get slapped again.
So when Donald Trump gets dragged out of the office on January 20, 2021, maybe look back a little and realize why you lost.
