I gotta be honest. I’m enjoying how the “Fuck your feelings”, “Liberal Tears”, “Snowflake”, “Deal with it pussy”, MAGA crowd are all throwing hissyfit tantrums just like President crybaby. Go ahead and use whatever mental gymnastics you want, but Trump lost. It’s over.
The election wasn’t rigged. There’s no conspiracy. And no matter what you’re hearing on Fox News, OAN, or QAnon, there is absolutely ZERO evidence to support any of your outlandish claims.
Trump has been setting this stage for months now. All the bitching about mail in ballots, the attempted dismantling of the Post Office, telling supporters that Democrats will try to rig it... Many of us 100% expected this type of behavior. It was the most obvious play ever.
It hurts. Sure. I TOTALLY get it. Watching the 2016 election go down in real time was life draining. BUT, and this is a very important distinction to make, I never thought for a minute that the 2016 election was RIGGED.
I personally couldn’t understand how in the hell someone could for for a fraud like him, but people made their choice. (Nearly 3 million more people made the other choice BUT THATS A WHOLE OTHER DISCUSSION!)
And I know what some of you are thinking. No, the concerns about Russia didn’t have anything to do with affecting the actual electoral process.
Hillary conceded the election late that night and Obama later had a very cordial and respectable transition of power. Because that how this fucking works.
Biden will likely win with 306 electoral votes and around 5 million more votes than Trump. When all is said and done, this wasn’t particularly close. In fact, Trump won some states by an even thinner margin last time.
But there was no crying foul. No dragging the process out. The race was called. Game over.
We all knew Covid was going to change the timeline of this process. Voting early is legal. Mail in ballots are legal. In many states as long as a ballot is postmarked by Election Day it can still be counted.
These rules were set. You can’t change the rules in the middle of a game, ESPECIALLY if that “game” is a goddamn presidential election.
Just because your candidate was up at one point doesn’t mean they’re going to win when the count is up. There aren’t fraudulent Biden ballots being made to skew the vote totals. These are votes from American citizens exercising their right to vote in a free and fair election.
Stop spreading misinformation.
