UPDATE ON TRUMP'S LAWSUITS (a thread):

1. A lawsuit in Pennsylvania has been joined by the Pennsylvania Republican Party, challenging an earlier ruling by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that ballots postmarked by Election Day but arriving up to three days later...
... could be accepted. The case has made it to the Supreme Court, yet the number of said ballots is too low to affect the outcome.
2. In Pennsylvania, a lawsuit claimed observers were barred from entering to observe the count. Under questioning by the judge, however, his campaign admitted that “a nonzero number” (a tactical way of saying one or more) of their observers were inside observing, to which the...
...judge said “Then what’s the problem?” and dismissed the case.
3. Lawsuits in federal and state courts in Pennsylvania allege that the contacting of voters whose mail ballots had been rejected because of errors so that those voters could fix them, was ‘improper’. This hasn’t been ruled on yet, but only affects 98 votes.
4. A lawsuit in Nevada claiming that the counting of postal votes should have been stopped due to observers allegedly not being given sufficient access, was dismissed by a judge as it did not come with any evidence. Team Trump have now filed the same lawsuit in federal court.
5. Republicans filed a lawsuit in Nevada claiming that 3,000 ballots had been cast by ineligible voters, including some cast “on behalf of deceased voters.” This was dismissed by a judge as it had no evidence. Team Trump are expected to appeal the decision.
6. A lawsuit claiming that a witness had observed 53 late-arriving ballots in Georgia not being properly stored was tossed-out by the judge as it came with no supporting evidence.
7. In Pennsylvania, judges sided with Republicans and ordered some provisional ballots set aside. However, legal experts have pointed out that even if the provisional ballots aren't accepted, it doesn’t involve enough votes to change the outcome of the result there.
8. A Republican poll watcher claimed that election officials in Georgia added 53 mail-in ballots which arrived late. A judge has dismissed the lawsuit. There will, however, be a recount in Georgia due to the vote margin being under 0.5%.
9. A lawsuit in Michigan claiming that Republicans were not allowed to observe counts "meaningfully" in several locations, has been dismissed by a state court judge after the Trump campaign also admitted under oath that they in fact did have access.
10. A lawsuit in Arizona claiming that ‘thousands’ of votes had been disenfranchised after voters were given sharpie pens to fill-out ballots is also expected to be rejected – as it has in other states, as it has been proven that sharpies do not effect ballot papers...
...that they in fact are easier for the tabulators to read, are promoted by the manufacturers of the vote-counting machines (tabulators) as being the best type of pen to use, and because the pens weren’t only given to Trump voters.
All other lawsuits are either still ongoing or are simply cases that have been dismissed yet are being resubmitted through federal courts.
