Observations on Taiwanese Trumpism:
1. Assertions US media "decided" the winner instead of reporting vote results
2. Lack of understanding that the US is divided & Trump was more unpopular than not *since 2016*
3. Mistakenly thinking Federal Election Commission certifies the vote
4. Believing that the Supreme Court (or other courts) must certify the vote
5. Moving quickly from wishing Trump would win to alleging widespread fraud because he hasn't
6. Pointing to differences in US vs. Taiwanese voting procedures & arguing the vote must therefore be insecure
7. Outflanking Tsai Ing-wen & the mainstream DPP (as various groups have on the question of formal independence or the conspiracy theory about her PhD)
8. Sharing election (dis)info from anti-CCP simplified Chinese accounts (even if they disagree w/them on the matter of Taiwan)
9. Lack of faith that a Democratic US president will support Taiwan w/words, diplomacy, & arms sales
10. Lack of familiarity w/the bipartisan lobbying efforts of Taiwanese diplomats & diaspora
11. And with the reams of academic & think tank research generated on US-TW relations
