Built in 1883, it once provided clean water to Colchester Town Centre. Today it stands empty and is no longer open to the public, but it still a great source of civic pride to local residents.

K is for Keep! Britain’s largest Norman Keep (AKA Colchester Castle) is closed as a museum right now BUT you can still get up close to it for free whenever the park is open. You certainly can’t say that about all castles!
