Over the last few months I feel that I have gained enough knowledge of hand sanitizer gels (provided at shop entrances) to start reviewing them with some level of authority. I know this is important information you have all been waiting for.
#ShopEntranceHandSanitizerReview
Aldi - Very diluted. This is probably a good thing because judging by the strong smell it probably would have burnt my hands clean off if they had not added water.
Albert Heijn - Uses a high-tech dispenser that utilizes lasers to spray hands and trolley within a specially designed docking station. It almost always misses resulting in highly sanitized sleeves and floor.
Plus - Seems perfectly fine. Works well and there is nothing weird about it. What are they hiding?
Poiesz - Shiny, slippery and lots of it. They obviously bought in bulk. Maybe it is tax deductible.
Jumbo - Seemed fine but since it was the same bottle of disinfectant for my hands as it was for the trolley I am a little worried. After all, it's not like I use oven cleaner to wash my hands at home.
Kruidvat - Good consistency but takes a long time to dissolve which is a problem since the dispenser gives so much of it. I had enough disinfectant for the next three shops.
Blokker - Good consistency at first but leaves the hands extremely sticky and kind of shiny. Also smells kind of sweet which makes me worry. Someone has probably tasted it at some point.
Hema - Strangely foamy, smells stronger than moonshine in terms of alcohol and leaves hands sticky. Come on Hema. Raise your game. You are better than this.
Action - Very watery which results in much of it ending up on the floor and up my sleeves. Action must have the most disinfected floor of all the shops.
Gamma - I'm not sure they didn't just get some of the paint stripper from elsewhere in the store and put it in a spray bottle.
