I'm a little confused who gets the primary credit for the increase in Georgia voter registration, and how much the increase was.
I'm often seeing Stacey Abrams getting credit for 800K new registrants this year (i.e. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/11/08/stacey-abrams-believers-georgia-blue-434985 )
But...

But...
...the GA Sec of State in Oct. said the new voter reg increase since Nov. 18 is more than 600K https://921wlhr.com/georgia-easy-voter-registration-options-break-new-records/
Also, the SoS credits the "automatic registration at the Department of Driver Services" program (in place since '16) for 5M of the state's 7.587M registrants...

...I also see that a NYT story on Abrams' organizations says they have "inspired an estimated 800,000 residents to register to vote" https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/11/06/us/election-results#stacey-abrams-draws-credit-and-praise-as-biden-inches-ahead-in-georgia
"inspired" is not the same as directly registering...

...So I'd like to see some firm, clear numbers.
How many voters were registered by the Abrams network? How many were registered through automatic registration by the state government? Is there any overlap between the two numbers?

Also, can the 800K and 600K numbers be squared? (i.e. Did Abrams get 800K registrants, resulting in a net increase of 600K because of voters who died or moved away?)
