So here is my take on the favorite vs. best debate:

[Pt.1] I believe that someone's favorite can mean best, but it doesn't necessarily have to. For example; my favorite artist is Tyler and the reasons for that include personal bias and overall enjoyment, but most importantly...
[Pt. 2] the emotional connections and the memories I have attached to his music. So, when it comes to the conversation of who is the best overall rapper (rapping ability), Tyler obviously isn't the best. I call Nas the best rapper of all time, and there are many reasons for it...
[Pt. 3] One argument I can make is that there is some objectivity when it comes to lyricism. Vocabulary is one key factor, which can and has been measured on an objective scale. So there is objectivity when it comes to overall rapping ability, but it isn't completely objective...
[Pt. 4] There are also many other key factors to this. Me talking about lyrics is one aspect of pure rapping as a whole. So basically, most people who have the same stance as me use objective reasoning to form their subjective opinions. Because of this, I can confidently say that
[Pt. 5] Nas is a better rapper than Tyler, but that doesn't mean I have to prefer one to the other. Again, pen game is only one aspect of being a great rapper, so don't attack me and say that there is more to it than what I said, because I know there is.
[Pt. 6] That's a pretty brief explanation to why I believe someone's favorite doesn't always have to mean best. Also, this is in regard to a previous tweet, so let me know if this clears it up or what you think about this debate. Give me more than a sentence.
