RULE NO. 2
Label your films clearly.
For example: Senior Season 2020, Junior Season 2019, etc.
“SavageSZN” is not a proper film label and may get ignored.

RULE NO. 3
The opening of your film should have, at most, one screen of information and/or one photo of yourself that shows your frame/build.
You do not need to have either, but you should not have multiple opening screens before game footage starts.

Front-load your best plays, and give coaches plenty to evaluate. A highlight reel less than 3 minutes is too short. Try for 5+.

RULE NO. 5
Unless you are being recruited exclusively as a return specialist, there should be no more than 1 return clip in the first two minutes of your film.
Returns take longer than normal plays and are less valuable than position-specific plays. Don’t waste evaluators’ time.

RULE NO. 6
Just because you scored a TD or intercepted a pass, that does not mean it’s one of your best plays.
A DB who puts all of his interceptions from the season as his first clips is almost always doing it wrong.

If you’re a QB lined up under center or in the gun, there’s no need stop the film to identify yourself. We know where you are.
