As such, growers in new hop markets must adapt to novel production challenges, leading policymakers, growers, and other industry stakeholders interested in localized food chains to consider political action to support the burgeoning industry. 5/n
We ask brewers which initiatives would incentivize them to utilize more local hops. The most favored initiatives include unique cultivar selection (e.g., proprietary hops or marketing terroir), improved cultivar selection, and farm brewery legislation. n/n
